Hi!

My name is Amy-Lee, but you can call me Amy.
I welcome you to my beautiful space, Beauty by the River and hope your experiences here exceed expectations. Here, all are welcome without judgment!

Growing up, I really struggled to figure out what I wanted to do with my life. School was an amazing experience, but, sitting and writing was not my thing, I enjoyed more practical and creative things. I left school at 16 and started my own journey. After many attempts at various courses and career paths, I sat with my family to figure out what I enjoyed. It was my sister who mentioned my love for skincare, how I would make up my own little DIY masks and scrubs and loved learning about the skin and body. In 2016 I sat my Diploma in Beauty Therapy and loved it! I developed a love for massage and skin and after working in spas and salons around NZ and Australia, I made the decision to start my own business!
Fast Forward to today, and here we are.

I cannot be more grateful for the many guests I have had the pleasure of sharing my offerings with. My vision for this space, is to create a safe place where all are welcome to ground, build self-esteem, and enhance their natural beauty through holistic, natural and organic practices that use high quality, results driven treatments to target all skin and body concerns.
